Holly LaHart

December 28, 1963 – June 30, 2021

After an adventurous life, Holly LaHart (age 57) passed away unexpectedly on June 29th 2021. Her brother Scott Mitchell preceded her in death. Holly is survived by her mother Johann Mitchell, father Alan Mitchell, and stepmother Yvonne Mitchell; daughters Malaia Merillat and Kyle LaHart; her grandchildren Damien Bebeau, Salem Bebeau, and Zayn LaHart; brother Chad Mitchell and sister-in-law April Handley-Mitchell, sister Heather Reckley and brother-in-law Rob Reckley; partner Robin Smith. Not one to walk the traditional path, Holly’s indifference to conformity inspired everyone to be themselves and love their life.  When not solving puzzles while listening to Nick Cave, Holly enjoyed time with her family and friends. After years working at the World Bank while living in Washington DC, Holly moved to Monroe and started working for Amazon in order to be closer to her family.

The celebration of Holly’s life will occur at Rupp’s Funeral Home at 2345 S Custer rd. on July 10, 2021 from 2-6pm.
