Herbert F. Pennington, Jr, age 83 of Monroe, passed away Monday October 18, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Herbert was born October 7, 1938 in Saint Joseph, MO to the late Herbert F. and Donna (Drowns) Pennington, Sr. Upon receiving his high school diploma, Herbert proudly served his county in the United States Navy, receiving an honorable discharge after his dedicated service. He would go on to meet and marry the love of his life, Marcy Attaway, on September 19, 1964. Sadly, she passed away October 18, 2015. Herbert made his living by working as a Sales Representative at Union Camp for many years.

To cherish his memory, Herbert leaves his two children, James (Jennifer) Pennington and Lisa (Dennis) Yates; two sisters, Cara Morris and Ann Pennington; and four grandchildren: Drew Villarreal, Danielle Villarreal, Jack Pennington, and Max Pennington.

In accordance with Herbert's wishes, cremation has occurred and no services will be held.
