Hazel E. Dansard, age 89 of Monroe, passed away the afternoon of Friday October 22, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Hazel was born March 28, 1932 in Monroe, MI to the late Willard and Clara (Clawson) Turner. She was a homemaker and she dedicated her life to raising her children and tending to her grandchildren. Her consistent resilience was evident throughout her life and her strong faith never wavered.
To cherish her memory, Hazel leaves her three sons: Jeffery Dansard, Michael (Linda) Dansard, and Danny Dansard; two daughters: Barbara (Doug) Vogel and Jane Dansard; eight grandchildren: Larry (Katie) Turner, Kevin Turner, Jen'ee Dansard, Brooke Hemry, Meesha (Kevin) Tatar, Bobbie Dansard, Megan Dansard, and Sierra Dansard; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Hazel is also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Turner and Robert Dansard; two brothers, William Turner and Ray Turner; and a sister, Lenora Haywood.
In accordance with Hazel's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery.
