Harold L. Brockman Jr.
January 29, 1945 – April 20, 2026
Harold “Hal” Leo Brockman Jr., age 81 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, with loved ones by his side, at the ProMedica Regional Hospital of Monroe.
Born January 29, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of the late Harold Sr. and Cissary Marie Brockman. Hal attended Dundee High School.
Hal met and married the love of his life, Judith Ann (Cooley) Bussell on May 14, 1972 at a Baptist Church in Dundee. Together they raised their family and enjoyed going camping in their trailer. In their younger years, they both played in local bowling leagues. They spent over 54 wonderful years together.
Hal worked at Metaldyne Performance Group Company of Detroit. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job as a Machinist for around 50 years, before retiring in 2010.
Hal was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Masons. Hal was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed being up north where he could fish, hunt, and go out on the boat. Hal will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Beloved husband of Judi Brockman. Loving father of Harold (Lisa) Brockman III. Stepfather of Dan (Teresa) Bussell. Also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Hal was preceded in death by son, Kevin Brockman and stepsons, Don Wesley and Dave Wesley Bussell as well as sisters, Beverly and Jan.
