Gregory J. Seabolt

April 28, 1961 – October 8, 2023

Gregory Joseph Seabolt, age 62 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Medilodge of Monroe Nursing Home.

Born April 28, 1961 in Monroe. He was one of three children of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Norton) Seabolt. Greg graduated from the Monroe County Intermediate School District. He also participated in the Special Olympics.

In his free time, you could find him being creative. Greg liked to make crafts and color. He was a force to be reckoned with during the game Uno. Most importantly, he loved his family, especially his nieces. Greg was a beautiful soul who touched many lives and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Beloved brother of Kim (Mark) Maddox. Loving uncle of Jennifer (Krissy) Duvall, Traci (Brent) Haube, Staci (Ryan) Sachs, and Mindy (Steve) Ely. Great uncle of Damien, Logan, Kalynn, Joseph, Kyle, Lillionna, Landin, Brooklyn, and Makenna.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by brother: James Seabolt.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Rupp Funeral Home from 10 am to 12 noon. The funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Officiating is Rev. Larry Detruf. Burial will follow to Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle.
