Gerline Wilson, age 76 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Born November 2, 1946, in LaFollette, Tennessee. Geri was the daughter of the late Carl and Marie McNeely. Geri received her GED from Airport High School.

Geri met and married the love of her life: Harold Wilson on July 10, 1982, in Monroe. She was a loving homemaker to her husband and three daughters. In her younger years, Geri used to sew her girls’ clothing. They spent over 33 wonderful years together before Hal sadly passed away in 2015.

In her free time, she used to garden in her flower beds and grow vegetables as well. Geri was a great cook, and her specialty dish was broccoli casserole and Christmas cookies. She had a silly and quirky personality.  Geri will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

Beloved mother of Samantha (Bailey) Brazzel and Kelly Ryan. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Geri was preceded in death by husband: Harold Wilson; daughter: Kathy Ryan; and brother: Lee Wilson.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no services at this time.
