March 26, 1959 - April 14, 2022

 

Fabian Bomia, age 63 of Monroe, passed away on April 14, 2022, at the ProMedica Regional Hospital of Monroe.

 

Born March 26, 1959, in Monroe, Fabian was the son of the late Raymond and Marcella (La Fountain) Bomia. He attended school here in Monroe and eventually started his career as a machinist at a steel plant. Fabian then married Linda Young and they raised two sons, Fabian and Jason.

 

In his spare time, Fabian enjoyed working on cars. Most importantly, he loved being with his family.

 

To cherish his memory, Fabian leaves his children: Fabian Bomia and Jason Young; grandchildren: Lucas Bomia, Marie Young, Angelica Young, Madison Young, JJ Young, and Alex Young; sister, Darlene (Bomia) Brooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, Fabian is preceded in death by three siblings: Donna Snapp, Roxanne Hoffer, and David Bomia.

 

Family and friends may visit on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Rupp Funeral Home from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. John Piippo will officiate. In accordance with Fabian’s wishes, cremation will follow services.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fabian’s family to help with funeral expenses.
