Eli Garrett Watkins, age 20 of Monroe, passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2020 at home.

Born on December 18, 1999 in Ann Arbor. Eli is the son of Barbara Watkins. Eli enjoyed going to school and helping out. He loved to play with his dear nephew JJ as well as play next door with his neighbor friends, Maddie and Ethan. Eli was interested in cars like Herbie. Eli had a soft spot for animals but in particular bonded with horses and dogs.  He loved to be outside when the weather was nice. Eli also liked to watch and root on the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team.

Eli overall loved his family and spending quality time with them. He will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.

Beloved son of Barbara Watkins. Loving brother of Evan (Heather) Watkins. Dearest uncle of Jameson Jon "JJ" Watkins. Dear nephew of Dennis (Judy) Watkins, Martha King, and John (Joy) Watkins. Also survived by cousins: Jared Watkins, Sean King, Stephanie King, Shannon King, Nicole King, Lori McConnaughey, Tonya Russeau, and Kyleigh & Kristopher.

Proceeded in death by a nephew: John Charles Watkins and grandparents: Ben and Darleen Watkins.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. A funeral service and rosary will take place at the end of visiting at 4:00 PM. Officiating is Deacon Mike Stewart. In conclusion, cremation will take place and buried at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eli's honor may be made to the Watkins family to help with his funeral services.
