Edward J. Fuhrman
October 28, 1928 - March 5, 2021
Edward Joseph Fuhrman, age 92 of Carleton, went to heaven the evening of Friday, March 5, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton.
Born October 28, 1928 in Carleton, Ed was one of four children of the late Michael and Irene (Eder) Fuhrman. Ed met and married the love of his life: Helen Rothman. They raised a family of three girls and spent over 64 wonderful years together.
Ed was a life long member and proud usher of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Carleton (now called Divine Grace Parish). It was there he was baptized, had his first communion, confirmed, and was married. He was also a member of their Men's Club where he used to enjoy bowling with their team.
Beloved husband of Helen Fuhrman. Loving father of Sue (James) Martin, Teresa Fuhrman, and Dawn (Steve) Werstein. Dearest grandfather of six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by a niece: Misty Oblak.
In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his siblings: Catherine Carter, Leonard Fuhrman, and Mary Mathis.
Everyone is invited to a visitation on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home from 12:30 to 8:00 pm. A recitation of the rosary will be said on Monday at 6:30 pm. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Divine Grace Parish-St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Carleton. Ed will lie instate at 10 am with the mass starting at 11 am. Officiating is Fr. Mike Woroniewicz. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made in Ed's honor are suggested to the Divine Grace Parish-St. Patrick's Men’s Club.
