Douglas Alan Jennings

March 5, 1996 - August 29, 2023

It’s with the deepest sorrow that we mourn the passing of Douglas Jennings. Doug, aged 27, passed away at ProMedica Monroe hospital due to complications with his diabetes.

Doug is survived by his Parents Thomas and Christine Jennings, his brother TJ Jennings, his Grandparents Alan and Shirley Ridner, Aunts Connie Ranville, Dawn (Danny) Thompson, Nicole (Michael) Armetta and Jessica (Corey) Haynes.  Doug is also survived by his cousins Jeremy and Rachelle Bacon, Conner and Brendan Bacon, Kadence and Michael Armetta, Isabelle, Easton, and Ally Haynes and his beloved chihuahuas Bambi and Tinkerbell.

Doug was preceded in death by his Papa and Granny, Thomas and June Jennings, and his baby cousin David Ranville.

Doug was a loving man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He especially loved spending time fishing and being outdoors with his brother TJ. Doug was also an avid animal lover who frequently saved animals found injured or alone. Doug wore his heart on his sleeve and never hesitated to give a hug and tell you how much he loved you.

Doug’s last wishes were to be an organ donor, with the help of Gift of Life Michigan, his legacy will live on through organ and tissue donation. His selfless gifts will improve the quality of lives for countless individuals and their families.

Following Doug’s wishes his cremation occurred at Rupp Funeral home and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
