August 4, 1943 – April 12, 2023

 

Doris Ann Beaudry, age 79 of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her home with loved ones by her side.

 

Born August 4, 1943 in Monroe. Doris was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel (Hatfield) Sandiefer. Doris attended Monroe High School.

 

After school, she met and married the love of her life: Philip D. Beaudry on June 24, 1961, at St. Charles Catholic Church. She became a loving homemaker to her husband and four children growing up who loved cooking for her family. In their free time, they enjoyed going for rides and vacationing together. They spent over 61 wonderful years together.

 

Doris was a former member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, where her children were raised at. She used to do volunteer work, cook, and teach Sunday School at the church. Later on, she is a current member at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.  

 

In her younger years, Doris used to play in a bowling league for fun. Most importantly, she loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy. Doris will be deeply missed and cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

 

Beloved wife of Phil Beaudry. Loving mother of Shannon Burke, Mel’Liss (Frank) Soave, Aaron (Janice) Beaudry, and Jennifer (Matt) Gifford. Dearest grandmother of Jena Burke, Kyle (Alex) Burke, Averie Beaudry, Ella Beaudry, Nick Navarre, Ian Gifford, and Isaiah Gifford. Great grandmother of Cameron, Sarai, Addison, Karson, Allie, and Kayden. Dear sister of Kenneth (Judi) Sandiefer. Doris was preceded in death by her parents.

 

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Everyone is invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church at 10 am with a Celebration of Life service starting at 11 am. Officiating is Rev. Bob Baltrip. Burial of ashes will follow immediately after at Roselawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
