Donald Ray Daughtry, age 82 of Southgate, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital of Dearborn.

Donald was always known for his kind and gentle soul. Don was indeed a great man of service.

He would go out of his way to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a simple man who never complained about anything, he had a huge heart that won over everyone that he met. Don will be sorely missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones.

Beloved father of Brenda (Domenic) Stanghini. Loving grandfather of Jeremiah (Kelly Kilrea) Stanghini and Jesse (Kathryn) Stanghini. Great-grandfather of Finley Stanghini and Lotus Stanghini. Dear brother of Regina Todd. Dearest significant companion of Rebecca Schultz.

Proceeded in death by his wife: Jean Daughtry.

In accordance with Don's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be a memorial service held at Christ the King Lutheran Church located at 15600 Trenton Rd, Southgate, MI, 48195 on Thursday, July 23, 2020 starting at 11 AM for all to attend.
