Donald Edward Barton, Sr., age 88, passed away on the 25th of June 2022, at the Seacrest Nursing Home.

Donald retired from Ford Motor Company in Monroe. He leaves behind his wife: Sandra (Eder), daughter: Deborah and son: Dennis. A son: Donald Jr., is deceased. Sister: Florence, brothers: Roland, Thomas, James, and multiple family and friends. Four grandsons: Jeremy, Michael, Paul Barton, and Joseph Sayles. Also, fifteen great grandchildren.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Rupp Funeral Home, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. A rosary service will be Thursday at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at St. Anne Catholic Church. Donald will lie in state at 9:30 am with mass at 10:30 am. Officiating is Fr. Henry Rebello. Burial will follow to St. Charles Cemetery in Newport with a military honor guard service under the auspice of the Monroe Post # 1138.
