December 6, 1951 - February 19, 2025

Diane Louise Smith (Cipolla) 73 of Monroe Michigan went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Diane was born on December 6, 1951, in Bremerton Washington, The daughter of Louis and Jeanette (St. Bernard) Cipolla.

Diane Married Ronald H. Smith in Monroe MI on July 6th 1973.  Diane and Ron were married 51 years. In their younger years Ron and Diane frequently enjoyed the open road on their motorcycles traveling when they could across the country.

Diane was a dedicated employee for the United States Postal Service for almost 30 years and loved being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Diane took in many children as her own over the years and was a nurturing wonderful influence in their lives as well.  She always had support and words of encouragement for the broken.

Diane was a good friend to so many; she was a  great conversationalist and could talk to anyone about anything . She loved classic TV and movies.

Remaining to cherish Diane's memory are her faithful husband, Ronald H. Smith; children, Shane and Dawn (Ostapshuk) Smith, Courtnay (Smith) and Joseph Denton; grandchildren: Rayn Smith, Ryan Smith, Sylvia Wilson-Smith, Washo Smith, Jude Denton and Geordi Denton; as well as many, many family members and friends.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Jeanette (St. Bernard) Cipolla and Louis Cipolla, and her beloved sister, Annette (Cipolla) Laker.

A celebration of life will be held on March 29, 2025 at Redeemer Fellowship Church, 5305 Evergreen Drive, Monroe, MI 48161 at 1 PM with a meal to follow.

Memorial donations in Diane's memory may be directed to the family.
