Dennis D. Zeemer

Dennis D. Zeemer, age 76 of Toledo, passed away at the Hospice of NW Ohio nursing facility on the morning of Sunday August 6, 2023.
Dennis was born September 12, 1946 and raised in Monroe by his parents Howard and Rose Mary (Jago) Zeemer. Dennis worked for General Motors at their powertrain plant in Toledo and took pride in being a union Committeeman for over 25 years before retiring. Dennis was honored to be a Mason , loved golfing, riding his Harley, and car shows.
Dennis was loved by his children Denise Weston, Dennis B Zeemer, Dawn (Rod) Crisman, Howard (Sarah) Zeemer and Melissa Heminger. And his grandchildren, Stephanie (Josiah) Bean, Amanda (Elijah) Bean, Tom Cox III, Chandler Zeemer, Jade Cox, Isabella Zeemer, Rodney Crisman, Gaven Cox, Victoria Zeemer, Zayne Cox, William Zeemer, Michael Crisman, Wesley Zeemer, and Sienna Zeemer.
He is survived by his sister, Debbie (Gary) Brown and was preceded in death by his parents, his brother William, and sons-in-law Tom Cox Jr., and Troy Heminger.
Dennis will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Monroe at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in his name. The Rupp family is honored to be assisting Dennis’ family in their time of need.
