Debra A. Weeks, age 66, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Seacrest Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born January 2, 1959, in Attleboro, MA, Debra was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Cochran) Raposa. Determined to get her diploma, she made the choice to go back to school. Debra went on to further her education by attending Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and achieved her associate degree in Computer Science. Debra worked for several years as a data entry specialist for many different financial institutions.

Debra was a sentimental person and enjoyed crafting in her spare time.

Debra leaves behind two daughters: Christina (David) Gilbert and Nicole (Robert) Bomia; siblings, Jerry (Phyllis) Raposa and Sharon Black; seven grandchildren: Sarah (Nicholas) Lo Faso, Alyssa Messier, Jacob Gilbert, Bethany Messier, Leila Bomia, Ryan Bomia and Jordan Bomia, and a great grandson, Theodore Lo Faso.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Raposa and a brother “Wild” Bill Raposa.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place, and she will be taken back to her home in Kannapolis North Carolina for burial.
