Debora Jean Geyman Jennings, age 68 of Monroe, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the ProMedica Hospital of Monroe.

Born May 29, 1954, in Monroe. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Thelma (Larrow) Geyman. Deb graduated from Monroe High School in 1972.

Deb met and married the love of her life: Kenneth Jennings on May 14, 1973, in Monroe. She was a loving homemaker to her husband and children growing up. They raised a family of three daughters and spent over 49 wonderful years together.

After having kids, she went back to school at Port Huron Community College for Accounting. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing on bowling leagues. Deb liked fishing in Port Huron on the Lake or Canal like the Black River. Every year she looked forward to canning her veggies, fish and jelly to preserve them.

Deb’s passion was cake decorating. She was known for her wedding, birthday, or any holiday cake for any occasion. She was a very creative person and enjoyed making different kinds of crafts like
crocheting. Deb also liked to do beading work like making Christmas ornaments for her loved ones.

Beloved wife of Ken Jennings. Loving mother of Tammy (Mark) Kujda of Port Huron, Patsy Jennings of Monroe, and Karey (Jeffrey) Coffey of Armada, MI. Dearest mimmie of Tara, Kevin, Austin, Patrick, Brandon, Clarabel and six great grandchildren. Dear sister of Thomas (Bonnie) Geyman.

In addition to her parents, Debora is preceded in death by siblings: Barbara Geyman, Norman Geyman, and infant brother: Joseph Geyman.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Rupp Funeral Home from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, with the prayer service at 7 pm. In accordance with Debora wishes, cremation will conclude services. Online condolences may be sent to www.ruppfuneralhomeinc.com
