Daniel Paris Massingo
October 2, 1950 – March 25, 2023
Daniel P. Massingo, age 72, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born October 2, 1950, he was the son of the late Helen Wylie. Daniel attended Monroe High School and went on to acquire his GED. He met, and later married, Debra Sue Carr, and together they raised their granddaughter, Brooke. Daniel operated his own business, Massingo Hand Car Wash and Detail Shop, for more than 20 years. He attended both Elevate and Stuart Road church.
Daniel was an outgoing man. He was known for his ability to help those in need. In his spare time, he loved to shop, especially with his granddaughter Brooke. Daniel will be truly missed by his family and friends.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his loving wife of 41 years, Debra Sue Massingo; a granddaughter, Brooke Benitez; two brothers: Albert (Sandy) Masssingo and Joe (Patti) Massingo, and a sister, Deborah (Butch) Lyons.
Daniel is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Massingo, and his mother Helen Wylie.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the I AM Church, located at 790 Patterson Dr. Monroe, Michigan from 3 pm until 4pm. Pastor Pansy Heath will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home.
