September 5, 1958 – December 15, 2024

It is with a sad heart that we let you know that Cindy peacefully passed away early this morning. She has been surrounded by those who she loved and cherished and who loved and cherished her back. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandma, mother in law, and just a wonderful woman. Our world will be different without her in it.

Life can change unexpectedly and quickly. Always take the picture. Always capture the memories. Always be happy with just being together. Enjoy life and your people. You never know when you won't have that opportunity to do these things anymore.  

To cherish her memory, Cynthia leaves her loving husband of 28 years, Robert, her children Jeff Gillenkirk, Craig (Kristine) Gillenkirk, Mike Armstrong, Alice O’Dell and Melissa Bennett. She also leaves a brother; Mike Hamilton, two sisters, Georgina (Jim) Jozwaik and Beverly (Kendall) Ford, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cynthia is preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Bleven.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 2 PM until 7 PM at Rupp Funeral Home. A funeral service in her honor will take place at Rupp Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11 AM with Reverend Larry Detruf officiating. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe.
