Chuckie T. Mozingo
July 31, 1954 – June 24, 2026
Chuckie Thomas Mozingo, age 71 of Monroe, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the ProMedica Hospital of Monroe.
Born July 31, 1954, Chuck was one of four sons of the late Zen and Cora (Suttles) Mozingo. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1972. Chuck continued his education at the University of Tennessee, where he played on their baseball team.
Chuck was the owner and operator of Mill Pond Developing, his carpentry business. He was a very hard and skilled worker. He could do just about any remodeling job and built many outdoor decks. Chuck served the Monroe County area for 40 plus years, before he had to medically retire.
Chuck used to attend a variety of Baptist churches in the area. In his free time, he studied and practiced karate for many years and obtained his black belt. Chuck loved being on the water and living by the river. He also enjoyed training his dogs, who were his dear companions. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
To cherish his memory, Chuck leaves his daughters, Niki (Corey) Bussell and Cassidy (Jamie) Roland; four grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Bussell & Cora and Charlie Sarazin; and three brothers, Zack Mozingo, Christopher (Melissa) Mozingo, and Bryan Mozingo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
