Cheryl Ann Collins, age 55 of LaSalle, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the ProMedica Regional Hospital of Toledo.

Born July 12, 1966, in Monroe. She is the daughter of Milton and Doris (Bray) Russell. Cheryl graduated from Monroe High School in 1984. Cheryl continued her education and received her Cosmetology License and practiced it on the side. She enjoyed cutting, coloring, and styling for others.

Cheryl first worked at Custer Elementary School as a cook for 25 years. She was also a janitor for Midway Products for the last 10 years.

Cheryl was a former member of the Free Will Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed drawing, reading, and painting her grandchildren’s onesies. She absolutely adored her grandchildren, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Beloved mother of John (Shelby) Collins and Robert Collins. Loving grandmother of Matthew and James Collins. Dearest daughter of Doris Russell. Dear sister of Ron (Liz) Russell, Richard (Kelly) Russell, and Steve (Sandy) Russell. Cheryl was preceded in death by father: Milton Russell.

Everyone is invited to a visitation on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Rupp Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be on Thursday, June 2, 2022, Rupp Funeral Home starting at 11 am. Officiating is Pastor Bob Bolton. In accordance with the families wishes, cremation will conclude services with burial of cremains at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date.
