Charles A. "Charlie" Borrmann, age 82, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away on May 3, 2026, at 2:21 p.m. at Hospice of NW Ohio following a brief illness.
He was born on April 18, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Janette (Holtz) Borrmann. Charles married his beloved wife, Janice Strach, on August 25, 1997, in Toledo, Ohio.
Charles worked for many years as a hardware store clerk, retiring in 2016. He was a graduate of Mason High School, Class of 1962. He enjoyed sports, especially cheering on his favorite team the Detroit Red Wings, and was known for his love for working with and helping the public.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Borrmann; his brother, Donald (Marge) Borrmann; sisters-in-law, Gail Borrmann and Joyce Sayles, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Frank and Fred Borrmann.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Rupp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
