January 4, 1941-September 14, 2023

Carol Jean Dedeluk, age 82 of Dundee, passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday September 14, 2023, at Hampton Manor in Dundee. She was surrounded with love from her caring family.

Carol was born January 4, 1941, in Detroit, MI to Charles L. Hartline and Virginia F. (Denne) Bruce. She would go on to meet and marry the love of her life, Robert D. Dedeluk, on June 13, 1958, in Inkster, MI. Carol was a homemaker most of her life, tending to the life and family her and Robert had built.

In her spare time, Carol loved watching the Hallmark Channel. She was also an avid watcher of the University of Michigan and Detroit sports teams. Carol and Robert bonded by traveling to and participating in Classic Car Shows, showing off their self-restored Mustangs. Their hard work and dedication often paid off by winning 1st Place. In her later years, Carol enjoyed taking part in the events hosted at Hampton Manor, most notably bingo. Above all else, Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, particularly all of her grandchildren and attending their many activities.

To cherish her memory, Carol leaves her daughter, Charisse M. (Troy) Denman; two sons: Robert L. Dedeluk and Allen C. Dedeluk; two brothers: Charles F. (Helen) Hartline and David (Shannon) Hartline; sister, Donna M. McCoy; six grandchildren: Nicole (Brad), Jessica, Jason (Sam), Shawn, Matt (Christy), and Brittney; and six great grandchildren.

The family would like to say “Thank You” to Compassionate Hospice Care of Brighton for all their loving attention, especially Amy and Michelle. The family would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care Carol received while being a resident at Hampton Manor, Dundee.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation and inurnment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, where Carol’s ashes will be laid to rest alongside Robert’s.
