Carmen Lucille Price (Anteau)

Carmen Lucille Price (Anteau) passed away on May 17, 2024 in Carleton, Michigan, after battling cancer for almost 11 years. She was born March 16, 1971 in Lincoln Park, Michigan and was the daughter and youngest of four children to Dennis Clarence Anteau and Carol Jean Anteau (Ford).
After graduating from Southgate Anderson High School, Carmen lived in Carleton most of her life and was married to and survived by 33 years of marriage to her husband and best friend, Donald Richard Price. Donald and
Carmen had two children, and is survived by son, Samuel Richard Price, and daughter, Chloe Dakota Price, one grandson, Leo Michael James, in addition to one on the way, Asher Oakley James. Father, Dennis Anteau, three siblings, Patty (Alan) Epperson, Timothy (Kimberly) Anteau, Samantha (Ronnie) Price. Preceded in death by mother Carol Jean Fahrer (Ford), father-in-law, Richard Duane Price.
Carmen’s battle with cancer brought many challenges that looked impossible to overcome, however, she chose to put her trust and hope in Jesus daily. No matter what prognosis the Doctors gave her. Carmen gave her heart to Jesus at 20 years of age, where God began teaching her about forgiveness and trust and loving the Lord. She used this faith to serve whenever she could by leading small group bible studies, taught christian girls clubs, and doing community outreach events; all to teach others about Jesus love for them.
In her spare time Carmen enjoyed reading, camping, and hiking, bike riding, kayaking, and cooking, living life without reserve. She loved her family and friends and often greeted you warmly with, “Hello Sunshine”, making you feel welcomed and loved. She had a strong faith and positive outlook that left you feeling encouraged whenever you were with her.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, May 31,2024 at Northbrook Church in Carleton, from 2 until 6 pm. A celebration in her honor will begin at 6 pm. followed by a dinner.
