Brownie Kachar age 94 passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022, at The Toledo Hospital with his son Daniel at his side.
Brownie was born December 12, 1927, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Stanko and Mildred Kachar.
To cherish his memory Brownie leaves his children Daniel (Dena Childers) Kachar, Karen (David) McKeen, Stanley (Sylvia) Kachar, Nicholas (Susan) Kachar and brother Sam (Judy) Kachar, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Along with his parents Brownie is also preceded in death by his son James Kachar, three brothers: Emil, George, and Mike Kachar, two grandchildren Christina and James H Kachar and great grandchild Christina McCloy.
Family and friends may visit from 10am-11am on Thursday June 23, 2022, at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. A funeral service will be held at 11am. Father Rade Obsenica will officiate. Burial and military honors will be at 10am the following day Friday June 24, 2022, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
Memorial contribution to VFW Post 1138 in Monroe.
