Brenda Joyce Mehki-Adams

Brenda Joyce Mehki-Adams, age 72, of Romulas, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born on August 19, 1953, in Monroe, Michigan, Brenda was the daughter of the late Russell and Joyce (Pratt) Mehki. She was a proud graduate of Gibraltar-Carlson High School and spent many years working as an inspector in quality control for Kessington Mahine before retiring in 2021. After her retirement, she kept herself busy by working for Regency Nursing Home for several years.

Brenda was a straightforward, hardworking woman who valued family above all else. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved and took pride in the life and family she built over the years.

She is survived by her children: Allen (Tina) Adams of Marion, Indiana, David Adams of Taylor, and James (Ally) Woodard of Taylor. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brenda is further survived by her siblings: Dale (Sue) Mehki of Erie, Shannon (Dennis) Mehki of Monroe, Gale (Tim) Schrieber of Gross Ile, and Kim (Kenny) Liss of Erie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In accordance with Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161, from 3 to 6 PM.
