Beulah R. Stein
September 24, 1935 – March 31, 2025
Beulah R. Stein, age 89 of Monroe, passed away peacefully at 10:37 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025, at Monroe Springs Nursing Center. She had been in declining health for one week.
Born September 24, 1935, in Wofford, Kentucky, she is the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Gladys (Chitwood) LeForce. Beulah attended Airport High School, graduating with the class of 1955. She would marry her beloved husband, Benjamin D. Stein the same year, on September 10th. Sadly, he preceded her in death on November 26, 2024.
A lifelong homemaker, Beulah cherished time spent in the kitchen cooking and baking her well known cookies and pies. In her younger years, she enjoyed going out square dancing with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting. Most of all, Beulah loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
To cherish her memory, Beulah leaves two children, Sheral (James) Gretzler and Tamra (David) Westendorf; three sisters: Unanell Bone, Vera LeForce, and Coleen (Tim) Wysong; five grandchildren: Kelli (David) Carner, Corey (Kiersten) Westendorf, Eric (Brie) Westendorf, Jordan (Amalie) Jenkins, and Taylor Jenkins; and seven great-grandchildren: Jackson, Lexie, Sawyer, Rhea, Isla, Josie, and Jack.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Garner LeForce and one sister, Nancy Utterback
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until services celebrating her life begin at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161. Interment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
