Andrew Karl Murray, age 25 of Newport, had his life taken away unexpectedly on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Monroe.

Born on October 21, 1995 in Monroe. He is the son of Brian and Danielle Russell. Drew graduated from Jefferson High School in 2014.

Drew was a great son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend. Drew loved music and was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. Drew loved to play basketball whenever he could & also liked to fish in his free time. He loved to laugh as well as make others laugh around him. Drew had a big heart and personality. He will be dearly missed and cherished in the hearts of his loved ones. 

Beloved son of Brian and Danielle Russell. Loving brother of Chelsea (Nate) Ghena, Sydney Russell and Olivia Russell. Dearest grandson of Eric Murray and Karla Weyher. Also survived by multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents: Ed and Pam Russell.

Everyone is invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Rupp Funeral Home from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. A memorial service will take place after the gathering starting at 2:30 pm. Officiating is Aaron Davis.
