Andrew David Diamond
December 17, 1991 – April 17, 2026
Andrew David Diamond, aged 34, passed away at his home in LaSalle, Michigan, on April 17, 2026. Born on December 17, 1991, in Dearborn, Michigan, Andrew lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love for both his family and the work he cherished.
A proud alumnus of Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan, graduating with the class of 2009, Andrew explored various roles in logistics and manufacturing before discovering his true passion as a computer programmer in the manufacturing sector. His technical skills were matched only by his relentless curiosity and determination.
An avid outdoorsman, Andrew found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was hunting, going on walks and bike rides, target shooting, or fixing vehicles and electronics, he embraced each day with enthusiasm. He also enjoyed building computers and woodworking with his grandfather, fostering a bond that went beyond mere craftsmanship.
Andrew's caring nature shone brightly after the passing of his grandfather; he moved in to provide support and companionship to his grandmother, showcasing his deep sense of family responsibility.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, David L. Diamond, Frederick Hinman, Patricia Tossy, and his great uncle, Virgil Diamond.
Andrew leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever: his mother, Lorraine (John Gorrell) Diamond of South Lyon; father, Troy (Laura) Hinman of Lansing; sister, Kelsey (Christian Remington) Diamond; grandmothers, Josephine Diamond and Katherine Olmstead; grandparents, Bill & Barb Gorrell; sisters: Joyce Hinman, Jayna Hinman, and Stevi (Tonya) Maveros; brother, Devin Muylle; niece, Winter Remington; aunt, Margie (Jerry) Thomas; uncle, Steve (Heather) Lorincz; cousins: Jacy Thomas, Josh Thomas, Jessica Thomas, Gracie (Jerimiah) Casterline, and Gabby Lorincz; and his faithful dog, Marley, who was more than just a pet but a true brother.
He is also survived by great aunts and uncles, Caroline (Ron) Fecek, Helen (John) Buchko, Andy Diamond, and Roger (Malou) Diamond.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Rupp Funeral Home, 2345 S. Custer Road, Monroe, MI 48161, from 9:30 a.m. until services celebrating his life begin at 12:30 p.m., officiated by Rev. Fr. David Burgard. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
