Albert Sidney Robbins

Albert Sidney Robbins passed away on December 30, 2022 in Monroe, Michigan.
Albert was born on March 18, 1944 in Piggott, Arkansas. He is the son of Marvin Robbins and Deanna Lee Robbins. He graduated from Flint Central High School, Flint, Michigan. He joined the Navy in August 1962, serving during the Vietnam War. His duties in the Navy included writing articles of interest to the Naval personnel. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service medal with one Bronze Star, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with device. He left the Navy in 1969, with the rank of First Class in Journalism. After the Navy, he attended Brigham Young University.
He had a great talent for fixing things: taking things apart and putting them back together (such as electronic and mechanical items). He enjoyed writing fictional stories.
He is survived by his sister, Linda, and half-sister, Donna Owen.
Interment was in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
