WylieSusie L. Wylie passed away February 5th, 2018 at Promedica Monroe, at the age of 60. She had been battling cancer for over a year.

Susie was born December 17th, 1957 in Monroe, Michigan. She was the daughter of Jim and Edith (Combs) Ayers. On September 30th, 2000 in Monroe, Michigan, she married Bobby Wylie. Susie was both a homemaker, and a driver for LIFE. She provided Meals on Wheels with LIFE for 17 years. Susie loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandkids.

To cherish her memory, Susie leaves behind her husband, Bobby Wylie; two sons: Gary Edward (Julie) Cochran and Larry “Hoss” Lewis (Cassandra) Cochran; one daughter: Peggy Lynn Cochran; two stepchildren: Chance Lynn Wylie and Crystal Monique Wylie; one brother: James Ayers; three sisters: Luzela Escamilla, Betty Greg, and Myrtle Emerton; 23 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Snyder, and grandson Jacob Allison.

Family and friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Memorial donations in Susie’s honor may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, or the family.
