 Jeffrey C. Rupp is proud to continue his family’s tradition of outstanding funeral service as a 5th generation Licensed Funeral Director. Jeff is a graduate of Monroe High School, Monroe County Community College, and Wayne State University (1984). Jeff has been active with the training programs of volunteers for Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe; Board member of Gabby’s Ladder ( a grief counseling center); Member of the Cemetery Advisory Board of the Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services of the Archdiocese of Detroit; Board member of Family Counseling & Shelter Services of Monroe County; and is a past District President of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association.

Polly A. Rupp is a graduate of Monroe High School and Michigan College of Beauty as a licensed cosmetologist. She also attended Central Michigan University and Monroe County Community College. Polly is a Directors Assistant and directs daily office operations.

Chelsea Rupp

Resident Trainee

Chelsea is the daughter of Polly Rupp and a graduate of Monroe County Middle College. She is currently attending Monroe County Community College and will continue her education at Wayne State University. Her plans are to continue the family tradition as a Licensed Funeral Director. Chelsea has volunteered for Stepping Stones Therapeutic Riding for more than 13 years and is also a Board Member for the Buckskin Horse Association of Michigan. When she has free time she can usually be found riding her horses.

Douglas D. McMullen is a licensed Funeral Director at Rupp Funeral Home, Inc. Doug is a lifelong resident of Monroe. He is a graduate of Monroe High School, Monroe County Community College, and Wayne State University. With over 40 years of service in the funeral service profession, Doug as well as all of our licensed Funeral Directors can provide assistance with planning funeral arrangements and preplanning funerals.

Thomas W. Miller is a licensed Funeral Director in Michigan and Ohio. He is a graduate of Whitmer High School and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Tom also attended University of Toledo. He has given over 30 years to the funeral service profession.

Justin Miller

Justin D. Miller joined our staff in August of 2016.  He is a graduate of Monroe High School, Monroe County Community College, magna cum laude, with an Associate of Science degree and Wayne State University, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science degree.  Justin received his Michigan license to practice Mortuary Science in August of 2016 and his Ohio Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses in May of 2017.He is an active member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, National Funeral Directors Association, Michigan Funeral Directors Association and Michigan Mortuary Science Foundation.  Justin feels serving families during one of their most difficult times is a great honor and he enjoys providing guidance and support to those families he has the privilege of serving.

Rev. Lawrence E. Detruf is a graduate of Edwards County High School and Walbash Valley Community College in Illinois, and a graduate of Warner Southern College in Florida with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. Larry is a Directors Assistant here at Rupp Funeral Home, Inc.
