Maver Marie (Nash) Muth, age 99 of Delano, Minnesota, died at her home on Saturday, October, 28, 2017.

MuthFuneral Services were held  Saturday, November 4th at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano, Minnesota.  There will be a Committal Service at the Roselawn Memorial Park chapel on Saturday November 11th at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow the service.  Rev. Ross Ulrich, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Monroe, will officiate. Rupp Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Maver was born on March 14, 1918 in Monroe Township, Monroe County, Michigan. She was the daughter of Bert and Eva Mae (Fisher) Nash. She married Harold William Muth on October 23, 1937 at Zion Lutheran Church in Monroe. The Rev. Henry Zapf, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. Maver was baptized on October 19, 1937 and was confirmed on April 10, 1938 at Zion Lutheran Church in Monroe.

Maver was a dedicated homemaker. She was a founding member of Faith Lutheran Church in Monroe, a past president of Ladies of Faith and chairperson of many dinners given at the church. She was also a past member of the Indian Trails Board of Trustees. Maver served on the board for the March of Dimes, serving as Monroe County chairperson for three years in the 1970’s. She served on the Red Cross Board and was a volunteer on the blood drives. Maver was a member of both the Monroe and Frenchtown Senior Citizens. In the fall of 2012, Maver moved from her home on Indian Trails in Monroe Michigan to Delano, Minnesota to be near the family of her daughter Dolores. Here in her new community, she once again became active in her new church home at Mt. Olive where she could regularly worship her Lord and Savior in church services and in bible study groups. Maver loved her family and seldom missed an activity. She also continued to be active in her senior living activities at the Delano Commons.

Maver was preceded in death by her husband Harold Muth, December 1, 1995; her parents Bert and Eva Mae Nash; her son-in-law Kent Gillingham; seven brothers Le Roy, Gerald, William, Serge, Raymond, James and Harold; a sister Helen Walker and three grandchildren Kevin Gillingham, Brian Muth and Jason Sprinkle.

Maver is survived by her loving family: three sons William H. (Susan) Muth of Scottsdale, Arizona, Robert J. (special friend Tanya) Muth of Springdale, Washingon and Thomas E. (Sharon) Muth of East Hardwick, Vermont; two daughters Janet M. Gillingham of Long Beach, Mississippi and Dolores M. (Larry) Enter of Watertown, Minnesota; fourteen grandchildren David Muth, Heather (Oliver) Young, Mark (Amy) Enter, Sara Muth, Greg (Sonja) Gillingham, Kristyn (Richard) Haberkorn, Michelle (Mark) Kuske, Shannon Sicilia, Renee (Leo) Cota, Heidi (Tim) Jackson, Jennifer (Mike) Arps, Gwendolyn(Jim) Mcllvaine, Amy (Matt) Sauer, Chantae Muth; 36 great-grandchildren Kyle (Jorge) Ruelas, John Gholson, Alex, Nathan, Grace, and Sophia Enter, Joshua, Samuel and Matthew Haberkorn, Daniel, Jessica, Kaity and Jonah Kuske, Kayla Schwarz, Zebediah Giuseppi, Nicholas and Rachel Sicilia, Joshua, Samuel and Kate Cota, Samuel, Darby, Hans, Jonathan, Evan and Erik Jackson, Elise, Evan and Nora Arps, Hanson, Kailey, Blythe and Kent Mcllvaine, Lorelei and Weston Brady, Aiden and Noah Gergen, Tate Sauer; and two great-great-grandchildren Belle and Dolores Kuske; other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers are Alex Enter, Nathan Enter, Joshua Haberkorn, Samuel Haberkorn, Daniel Kuske, Jonah Kuske.

Honorary Casket Bearers are Samuel Jackson, Weston Brady, John Gholson, Zebediah Sicilia, Giuseppi Sicilia, Nicholas Sicilia, Joshua Cota, Samuel Cota, Hanson Mcllviane.

Memorials preferred to be given to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church Building Fund (435 Bridge Ave. S., Delano, Minnesota).
