Maryann Boudinet

BoudinetMaryann Boudinet, age 96, of Riverview, Michigan, formerly of Monroe, passed away peacefully at 7:25 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2017, at Applewood Nursing Center, Woodhaven, Michigan.

 

Family and friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie in state at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the church Pastor, Rev. Fr. Raymond Arwady. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.

 

Born January 22, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Mullin) Lankauf. Maryann attended St. Mary Academy, graduating with the class of 1939. She married Robert Dusseau in 1948 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monroe, and Edward Boudinet in 1968 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Carleton. Sadly, both of her husbands preceded her in death in 1955 and 1990 respectively. Maryann worked for Monroe County Abstract Company, the Thrift Shop and Burrough’s Manufacturing as a Secretary. She was a long-time member of St. John Catholic Church and volunteered for The Monroe County Red Cross for eighteen years. In her spare time, Maryann enjoyed traveling, living in Bermuda for five years.

 

To cherish her memory, Maryann leaves one son, Myron “Mike” Dusseau of Flat Rock; two grandchildren, Robert Dusseau of Warren, Michigan and Kenneth (Heather) Dusseau of West Grove, Pennsylvania; one sister, Alice (Eugene) Poupard of Monroe; and six great-grandchildren: Austin, Noah, Nate, Faith, Luke and Alex Dusseau.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Janet Dusseau and one granddaughter, Kristy Dusseau.

 

Memorial contributions in Maryann’s memory are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
