Joyce Elaine Gay November 12, 1947  -   February 18, 2012   Joyce Gay, a former resident of Monroe, passed away Saturday at the age of 64 in Adrian, Michigan.  She lived at the Cates Adult Foster Care Facility in Adrian until November when she was hospitalized.  In December she moved to the Provincial House Nursing Home in Adrian.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at Rupp Funeral Home.  Mourners may view Joyce from 10AM to 11AM when the funeral service will take place.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.  Joyce was an avid Tiger fan and loved music.  She worked over 30 years at Good Will of Lenawee County and was involved in several activity programs through Lenawee Community Mental Health until her health began to decline.  She attended Berean Baptist Church and the Shepherds Program.  Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Eva (Irene) Gay.  Left to mourn her passing is a sister, Wendy (Bari) Waltz of Monroe and a brother, Mike (Jani), and two nephews, Zakary and Nikolas all of Concord, California.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lenawee Community Mental Health, 1040 South Winter Street, Suite #1022, Adrian, MI  49221.
