Rhonda J. Blohm

November 26, 1964 – February 18, 2012

Rhonda J. Blohm, 47 of Lincoln, Michigan, formerly of Monroe, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor after a courageous fight against cancer.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 12 noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Rupp Funeral Home.  She will lie instate at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church with services at 11 a.m.  The Rev. Ronald Schultz, pastor of the church, and Rev. James Erickson, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Alpena, will officiate.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Born November 26, 1964 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Radford) Liedel. She married Joel S. Blohm August 23, 1986 at Grace Lutheran Church.

Rhonda was the events coordinator at Lost Lake Woods Country Club and also worked for Alcona Community Schools.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Alpena.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Joel Blohm of Lincoln; her parents Thomas and Anna Liedel of Newport; a son Justin S. Blohm of Lincoln; a daughter, Sara E. Blohm of Lincoln; a sister Melissa (Wick) Armstrong of Evans, Georgia and nieces and nephews, Jenna, Mitch, Riley, Tyler, Joshua and Aaron.
