Surviving are his mother Agnes of Monroe; his children Amber T. (Brad) Spence, Nichole L. Jacobs, Darrell J. Jacobs, James L. Jacobs and Eli D. Jacobs all of Monroe; grandchildren Austin Spence, Shane Wilkins, Dalton Wilkins, Shelby McLaughlin, Daniel Jacobs, Korah Jacobs and Willow Jacobs; sister Cynthia (Larry) Lingar of Monroe and brother Richard (Sheila) Jacobs of Dundee.
He was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Leroy T. Jacobs and James M. Jacobs and sister, Patricia Essary.
