Dawn M. Bergmooser

February 3, 1963 – January 28, 2012

   Dawn M. Bergmooser, 48 of Monroe, passed away Saturday due to injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident in Cadillac, Michigan.

   Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Dawn will lie instate 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church where Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m.  Rev. James Smalarz, pastor of St. John Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

   Born February 3, 1963 she was the daughter of Orville and Ruth (Leonard) Garrett. She married Dennis R. Bergmooser on July 4, 1981 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, New Boston.

   Dawn was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a 1981 graduate of Monroe High School and a graduate of the Coleman Academy of Beauty, Flat Rock.

   Dawn worked as a hair stylist in the Monroe area for many years and loved to travel. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

   Surviving are her husband Dennis, mother Ruth Garrett of Monroe; children Bradley R. (Kimberly) Bergmooser of Naperville, Illinois, Sarah M. (Matthew) Feaster of Hudson, Ohio and Alex M. Bergmooser of Monroe; grandchildren Gabrielle Feaster, Mason Feaster and Landon Bergmooser; brother Larry (Lou Ann) Garrett of Temperance and sister Mary K.(Stricklen) (Ron) Newman of Monroe.

   She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Randy Garrett; nephew, Troy A. Stricklen and brother-in-law Gerald L. Stricklen.
