Donna L. Nolan

April 1, 1937 – January 27, 2012

   Donna Lou (Stevens) Nolan, 74 of Monroe passed away at 5:35 a.m. Friday at Heartland of Waterville, Waterville, Ohio. She had been in poor health for two years.

   Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Rupp funeral Home where a Rosary service will be held at 4 p.m. Donna will lie instate 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the funeral mass at 10 a.m. Rev. Stephen Vileo, pastor will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

   Born April 1, 1937 in Monroe she was the daughter of Charles and Irene (Rinto) Stevens. She married her high school sweetheart John D. (Jack) Nolan on April 23, 1955 at St. Michael Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2012.

   Donna and Jack had four daughters after which she decided to work at home to care for them. They were married for fifty-seven years. Donna will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She loved to collect bears, shop on QVC and spend time with her family, friends and dogs

   Surviving are her sister Carol Moore, daughters and son-in-laws Debbie and Bill Gadille of Ida, Cheri and Steve Gaietto of Tiffin, Ohio, Shelly and Danny Gaw of LaSalle and Kelly and Michael Charter of Potterville, Michigan; grandchildren Cherine and Josh Perrin, Ricky Wurster, Johnathan and Jeanette Nolan, Scott Gadille, Sarah Gadille, Colin Charter, Daniel Gaw, Nathaniel Gaw and Dominic and Ginger Gaietto; great grandchildren John, Brendan, Ian, Gabriel, Brody, Sean, Emma and her terrier Sissy.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, granddaughter Gina Gaietto, great grandson Justin, sister, Shirley (Stevens) Boden and two terriers Dexter and Taffy.

   Memorials may be made to the Monroe County Humane Society.
