George was employed by Hess Cartage Company as the Safety Director retiring in 1980.
He served his country in the United States Air Force from1958 to 1962 and was stationed in
George was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus # 1266 Monroe, National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed reading and sports, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Diane and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brotherWilliam.
Memorials may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe.
