Debra S. Beck; 55, of Monroe died at 10:30 a.m. Friday at University Hospital, Ann Arbor. She had been in poor health for several months. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie instate 10 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Dennis Bux, pastor will officiate. Born July 13, 1953 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Donald E. and Donna J. (Avery) Beck. She was a registered pharmacist and worked at Weisel Pharmacy from April 1980 until purchasing the pharmacies in October 1998. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, a 1971 graduate of Monroe High School and a 1976 graduate of Farris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She was also a member of the Michigan Pharmacy Association, National Community Pharmacy Association and the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Surviving is her sister Diane E. Mackey of Monroe and great niece Zoe E. Mackey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Adam E. Mackey. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
