Virginia M. Osborne, 82, of Monroe died at 5:35 p.m. Saturday at Fountain View of Monroe. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe. Rev. Alice Morse, pastor of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Born June 22, 1927 in Sandusky, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul V. and Leona E. (Keimer) Brown. She married James P. Ejbl June 22, 1946 and then married Hugh Osborne October 10, 1971. She worked for Michigan Bell for 18 years as an operator and instructor before retiring in 1973. Then in 1976 she began working as a nurse’s aide at the Lutheran Home. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she taught Sunday School, served as a Vestry and was assistant treasurer and then treasurer of the Downriver Convocation. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, James P. (Sonthi) Ejbl of Monroe; a brother Carl (Nonna) Brown of Monroe, and one grandchild. She is preceded in death by both of her husbands and a brother, Paul V. Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
