Ralston2Alena A. (Martin) Ralston, age 33 of Detroit, formerly of Monroe, passed away Thursday morning in Inkster due to injuries she sustained in an auto accident.

Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Rupp Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Adam Davis of Elevate Church in Monroe will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.

Born April 20, 1983 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Joseph Martin and Roberta Ralston. She attended Monroe Public Schools and enjoyed music, puzzles, cooking, dancing, and playing video games.

Alena is survived by her father, Joseph (Darlene Ellison) Martin of Monroe; mother, Roberta Ralston of Detroit; three children, Desiree, Airyanna, and Juliette; sister, Amity Ralston of Monroe; grandmother, Doris Barker of Monroe; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Alena is preceded in death by grandparents, Robert and Winifred Ralston, and Richard Martin.

    So sorry to hear about Alena passing away. Alena rented from my brother and used to work at Jack’s Lawn Service a few years ago. Prayers to her family. Martha Sturn
